  There are two types of chemicals that we deal with for fire applications.  Chemical fire suppression--chemicals used to put out a live fire.  COLD FIRE is this kind of chemical, it will put out all classes of fire.

The second type is fire retardant chemicals.  They are used to protect structures from fire by preventing the material from catching fire.  Flame Guard and Thermo Gel fall into this type of chemical.  COLD FIRE Fire Block is also used for this application in indoor situations (drapes, furniture, display booths, etc.).
